About Telecommunication Network

In the year 1996, Telecommunication Network Division was first to utilize commercialized CDMA services. By the year 2001, the division had grown into a telecommunications network leader, ranking third on the wireless communications market in the world and claiming 69% on the domestic market. In the network business, SAMSUNG Electronics achieved a 100% domestic market share of CDMA 2000 1x and pioneered the commercialization of CDMA2000 1x EV-DO. Telecommunication Network Division also expanded into new strategic markets in America, Europe, China, and Australia. It has a strong business capability in exports to set up a global production and management infrastructure.
